This Privacy Policy applies when you use the roadside assistance website www.traffihelp.lt or its Android and iOS mobile applications (hereinafter the website and the mobile application together referred to as the “Platform”), visit our social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn (hereinafter – the “Social Accounts”), contact us via email, phone, or other electronic communication channels.

1.3. In this Privacy Policy, “personal data” (hereinafter – “Personal Data”) means any information or set of information through which we can directly or indirectly identify your identity, for example, by your name, surname, email address, phone number, etc. The reference “you” in this Privacy Policy means the user of the Platform and its services, a visitor to the Social Accounts, or a person communicating with us.

1.4. When processing Personal Data, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 (EU) (hereinafter – GDPR) and the requirements of the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, as well as the guidelines of supervisory authorities.

1.5. If you use the Platform, its services, visit our Social Accounts, contact us or reach out to us through any communication means, or subscribe to our newsletters, we consider that you have familiarized yourself with this Privacy Policy.

1.6. Please note that the Platform and Social Accounts may contain links to websites of other individuals, companies, or organizations. We are not responsible for the content of such websites and/or their methods of ensuring privacy. Therefore, before submitting any personal information, you should familiarize yourself with the respective website’s rules, privacy policy, and other relevant documents.

1.7. This Privacy Policy may change, so please visit our website www.traffihelp.lt and/or Social Accounts from time to time to read the latest version of the Privacy Policy.

2. WHO ARE WE?

2.1. The controller of your Personal Data is UAB “Traffi Group”, a private limited liability company established in the Republic of Lithuania, legal entity code 307007616, registered address Eduardo Andrė g. 14-5, LT-02232 Vilnius, Lithuania. Data is collected and processed in the Register of Legal Entities held by the State Enterprise Centre of Registers (hereinafter – Traffi Help or we/us).

3. HOW DO WE OBTAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

3.1. We obtain your Personal Data in the following ways:

3.1.1. Directly from you when you provide your Personal Data, for example, when registering on the Platform, using it, making payments, or communicating with Traffi Help via email or phone.

3.1.2. When we collect Personal Data while you use the Platform or our Social Accounts. For example, we may log your order or visit history, IP address, service selections, opened URLs, etc.

3.1.3. When we receive Personal Data from third parties, for example, from a service requester who names you as a contact person, from payment institutions about completed payments, etc.

3.1.4. By submitting Personal Data (e.g., about employees, representatives, or friends/colleagues), you are responsible for its accuracy, completeness, and relevance, as well as for informing the data subject or obtaining their consent. In some cases, we may ask you to confirm you have the right to provide us with the data (e.g., by completing registration forms).

4. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DOES TRAFFI HELP PROCESS?

4.1. For account registration, ordering, and receiving services in the mobile app, we collect: name, surname, phone number, and email address. Other data may include: account usage, service dates, history of used services, IP address. Traffi Help also collects the user’s location while the app is open or running in the background if the user has pressed the “Online” button. Location history is not stored – only the last known location is retained.

4.2. As Traffi Help expands services or improves the mobile app, we reserve the right to collect additional Personal Data, but only to the extent necessary for the proper delivery of our services.

4.3. In some cases, we may send service-related messages or call you, e.g., to confirm an order, notify about changes, or remind you of unfinished bookings. These are not considered marketing messages and are necessary for proper service provision.

5. PERSONAL DATA DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

5.1. Your Personal Data may be transferred to processors or recipients in these cases:

5.1.1. To fulfill an order or provide services – to partners providing the requested services. We ensure data is only shared to the extent necessary and confidentiality is maintained. When transferring data to processors, we require them to implement proper organizational and technical measures.

5.1.2. To prevent or investigate crimes or fulfill legal obligations – data may be shared with law enforcement, courts, or other authorities, following Lithuanian legal procedures.

5.2. We may also transfer data:

5.2.1. Within group companies or, with legal grounds, to other data controllers or joint controllers.

5.2.2. To companies intending to acquire or merge with Traffi Help, or to subsidiaries of UAB “Traffi Group”.

6. PERSONAL DATA RETENTION

6.1. We do not retain your personal information longer than necessary and only keep what is relevant to our purposes.

6.2. Information provided on the Platform is stored as long as your account exists.

6.3. If you contact support, data is stored until the inquiry is resolved and for a short time thereafter.

6.4. When making payments through the mobile app, we request the necessary information and store payment-related data as required by law.

6.5. You can request to delete your account at any time or do it via the app.

7. DATA CORRECTION, COMPLETION, AND DELETION

7.1. You may correct, supplement, or request the deletion of your Personal Data provided in this Privacy Policy.

7.2. Requests are executed upon receipt. Upon your deletion request, we will delete your account and data within 30 calendar days, unless we are legally required to retain them. You have the right to access your data, know how it is processed, its sources, purposes, and recipients. If we doubt the accuracy of data, we may ask for clarification and may suspend services until resolved.

7.3. If we doubt the accuracy of your data, we may suspend processing until it is verified. Such data is used only for verification purposes.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

8.1. As a data subject, you have the right to:

8.1.1. Access your data and receive confirmation of processing.

8.1.2. Request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data.

8.1.3. Request deletion of your data if justified.

8.1.4. Request restriction of processing if disputing accuracy, legality, or need for the data.

8.1.5. Object to data processing for legitimate interests.

8.1.6. Request data transfer in a structured, commonly used format.

8.1.7. Object to fully automated decisions, including profiling.

8.1.8. Withdraw consent at any time if data is processed based on your consent.

8.1.9. File a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8.3. We will respond within 1 month, which may be extended by 2 months if requests are complex or numerous. You will be informed within 1 month of any extension.

8.4. If data is deleted upon your request, we will retain only copies needed to protect legal interests, comply with obligations, or resolve disputes.

8.5. We do not charge for exercising your rights unless requests are clearly unfounded or excessive.

8.6. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. In Lithuania: State Data Protection Inspectorate (www.ada.lt).

9. DIRECT MARKETING

9.1. We may send service-related information (marketing messages) via email or phone, if you agreed to this Privacy Policy. Messages may be personalized based on your Platform usage. You may also be asked to review our services.

9.2. We may tailor marketing messages based on service usage to better suit your preferences.

9.3. We may collect data on message engagement (opened messages, clicked links, etc.) to improve personalization.

9.4. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time via the provided unsubscribe link or by emailing info@traffihelp.lt.

9.5. After opting out, you may still receive a few messages while systems are updated.

9.6. Opting out does not prevent service-related communication.

9.7. Opting out of marketing does not mean your data is deleted. A separate deletion request is required.

10.1. To ensure quality services, cookies – small text files – may be saved on your device. This is a common practice to simplify site navigation and improve user experience.
